Allée

An allée is, in short, a road lined with trees on both sides.

The linear axis formed by trees planted opposite each other, at equal or varying intervals, can be a walk that marks a beginning and an end. When creating an allée, the function of the trees matters as much as their visual appeal. On city streets, for example, the first priority is that the plants tolerate exhaust fumes and air pollution; in parks, species that are more pleasing to the eye can be chosen. Globe locust, ironwood, paper mulberry, tree of heaven and Mediterranean cypress: five trees we have picked for you to create an allée.
