Restaurant
The physical space and identity of an existing restaurant in Kaş Setur Marina were reconsidered around the view, the guest's experience and art. The restaurant was reorganised as a single composition of kitchen, shared work area, bar, WCs and dining terraces of different character. To make the most of the view, the dining areas were split across three levels, each terrace with its own way of sitting. The wine cellar is placed at a commanding point where it forms a strong backdrop, and different corners of the restaurant are treated as places to show works of art. The entrance is defined by a pier-like platform, from which open-tread steps across a grassy slope lead down to the terraces. The project sets out to create an original, layered identity that brings together the marina, the landscape, the view, art and the experience of eating and drinking.
